Local Reporting: Louisiana Part C Annual Performance
Report In Accordance with Part C of the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), each state
must have in place a State Performance Plan (SPP) to
evaluate the state’s efforts to meet the requirements and
purposes of the implementation of IDEA and report annually
on its performance. L
Louisiana’s statewide performance on
the 14 indicators is available on the EarlySteps website
at www.dhh.louisiana.gov/offices/?ID=334. The U.S.
Department of Education, Office of Special Education
Programs requires that all States report annually to the
public on the performance of the local early intervention
programs. Louisiana defines “local program” as the 9
regional programs of the state’s DHH regions.
