Medicaid Outreach and Enrollment for Pregnant Women: What Is the State of the Art?

In 2008, researchers from The Urban Institute and the National Academy for State Health Policy made a site visit to Louisiana (one day in Baton Rouge and one day in New Orleans) to learn more about Louisiana's Medicaid outreach and enrollment processes for pregnant women in Louisiana.
The following report- prepared for the March of Dimes - includes the results of that visit. Louisiana-specific references can be found on pages 56 through 78.
