The Office for Addictive Disorders provides a variety of prevention and treatment services to problem and compulsive gamblers and their families.  The Louisiana Problem Gamblers Helpline and CORE, Center of Recovery, Shreveport, LA.  (which offers residential treatment for persons with gambling problems) are operated by the La. Assn. on Compulsive Gambling under contract with the Office for Addictive Disorders.
