BHSF has contracted with MAXIMUS as an Independant Verification and Validation (IV & V) contractor.  Their responsibility is to validate our Medicaid Information Technical Architecture (MITA) "as-is" and to work with stakeholders to determine our "to-be" that align with our Mission and Goals.  MAXIMUS will also be responsible for writing the SFP (Solicitation for Proposal) for the new MMIS and will work with DHH through implementation of a new system.

Implementation of a new MMIS and CMS certification should be completed in approximately three years.

The project includes the contractor (MAXIMUS), the Project Management Team, and various DHH Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).  There is also an Excecutive Steering Committee responsible for making global decisions related to the project on an as needed basis.
