How can I apply for a State job?  Back to Top First- Download a Civil Service application (SF-10) and complete. (Website to find application http://www.dscs.state.la.us/ go to Downloadable Forms then Employment Application (SF-10).    Second-Look on the Job Search page of the Civil Service website and see which jobs are open that you are interested in applying for.  (Website for Job Search http://www.civilservice.louisiana.gov/jobs.nsf) Third-bring your application to the Civil Service testing center, take the test needed to acquire a grade. (Address to testing center 5825 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806, Information phone #925-1911)
