Examples include facility reviews of existing and new water/wastewater plants, public health considerations involving the construction of homes, businesses, hospitals, jails, state facilities, schools, and public buildings,and public swimming pool construction and maintenance.
• More than 20,000 new individual onsite wastewater treatment systems are installed in Louisiana each year. These systems are scheduled to provide service to new and existing residential construction throughout the State that is not currently served by a municipal or other community-type sewerage systems.
