2009 BRFSS
The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) is a state-based system of health surveys that collects information on health risk behaviors, preventive health practices, and health care access primarily related to chronic disease and injury.
NHSC
The 2012 NHSC Loan Repayment Program (LRP) application cycle is now open. The program offers primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers the opportunity to have their student loans repaid for serving communities in need.
Quit Smoking
We can help you quit smoking! Since every person is unique, what works for you might not work for others. It takes real effort to find the right combination of resources that work.
SBHCs
Louisiana is in the forefront in the School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) movement. In 2010-2011, there were 65 SBHCs in 27 parishes, serving 111 schools and providing access to nearly 66,000 students.
