Pilot Projects

Both the CDC and the LDHH have developed tracking networks in response to calls for a better understanding of how the environment can affect people's health. These web-based systems bring together health and environmental data to provide information to help improve where we live, work, and play. The CDC and LDH Tracking programs provide tools to monitor health, exposure and environmental data and guide public health actions. Most information that is collected for the LDH Tracking Network has also been included on CDC's Tracking Network.
