Targeted Population                                                                                                                                     

Special emphasis and priority will be placed on reaching those adolescents and adults involved in the criminal justice system and methamphetamine users.  However, ATR-II will be available to all Louisiana residents in the identified Target Areas who are deemed clinically and financially eligible for the program.

  • Greater Baton Rouge - Capital Area Human Services District
  • Greater New Orleans - Metropolitan Human Services District & Jefferson Parish Human  Services Authority
  • Northeast Louisiana - Region 8
  • Northwest Louisiana - Region 7

Client Eligibility

  • Client has clinical diagnosis of alcohol and/or drug abuse or dependence; AND
  • Client income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level

Priority Admission Criteria                                                                                        

  • Client meets all Eligibility Criteria and falls into one of the following categories:
  • Criminal Justice Involvement – defined as incarcerated within past 12 months; currently on probation/parole; or referred by the criminal justice/court system
  • Methamphetamine or Ecstasy Use in the “past 90 days
