Louisiana Department of Health (DHH) Well-Ahead Louisiana Director Melissa Martin will join community leaders tomorrow morning to announce the designation of the first three WellSpots in Alexandria. Well-Ahead is an initiative of LDH launched in early 2014 aimed at making the spaces and places in which we live and work healthier for our residents. Businesses and organizations may complete a set of criteria as part of the initiative. Doing so allows them to be designated a WellSpot. The Central Louisiana Healthy Communities Coalition is hosting the breakfast orientation tomorrow to educate community members about Well-Ahead and to name the first WellSpot in Louisiana.
