Private Room Conversion became effective for dates of service on or after September 1, 2007 for Medicaid participating nursing facilities that convert a semi-private room to a Medicaid-occupied private room are eligible to receive an additional $5 per diem payment. Facilities that participate will have their fair rental valie per diem revised based on the change in licensed beds.
