Dr. Melinda Wharton, director of the Immunization Services Division of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) and the nation’s chief immunologist, will visit Louisiana in advance of National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW), April 16 – 23. Dr. Wharton will be in Louisiana April 14 and 15.

The results for the State of Louisiana are presented along with comparisons to past years results for State of Louisiana. In addition, the report contains important information about the content of the survey, and suggestions and guidelines on how to interpret and use the data for prevention planning.
