Substance Abuse / Addiction Treatment Facilities

Abuse/addiction facilities are licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, Health Standards Section (HSS).

"Substance abuse/addiction treatment facility" means any facility which presents itself to the public as a provider of services related to the abuse/addiction of controlled dangerous substances, drugs or inhalants, alcohol, problem and compulsive gambling, or a combination of the above. - RS 40:1058.1.1
