Villa Feliciana Medical Complex is located in East Feliciana Parish in Jackson, Louisiana. Although the facility was originally established in 1964 to care for the elderly, its mission has evolved over time to include the provision of medical care and rehabilitative services to medically complex patients diagnosed with chronic diseases, disabilities and terminal illnesses. Higher acuity patients with specialized needs, including those who have been diagnosed with infectious diseases such as HIV/Aids or tuberculosis, are often referred here for admission from acute-care hospitals in the state.
The facility’s goal is to ensure each patient is provided with high-quality, compassionate health care that meets their individualized medical or rehabilitation needs in a homelike, safe environment, and which affords the patient the opportunity to obtain the highest possible quality of life.
