Under the direction of the Office of Behavioral Health, Region VII, Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic - Child/Youth Services provides outpatient behavioral health services to eligible youth experiencing serious emotional disorders and/or addictions to alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and gambling. The service area for the Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic - Child/Youth Services includes Caddo and Bossier parishes. Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic - Child/Youth Services offer services including; screening and evaluation; individual, family, group therapy; medication evaluation; management and provision of prescribed medications. Service fees based on income, family size, etc. and third party payment is accepted and billed.
* A system of care incorporates a broad array of services and supports that are organized into a coordinated network, integrates care planning and management across multiple levels, is culturally and linguistically competent, and builds meaningful partnerships with those we serve at service delivery and policy levels.
Other services accessible to clients of the Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic - Child/Youth Services, through a network of contract providers, include transportation, case management, respite, employment training, supportive housing, basic needs assistance, multi-agency planning, etc. Coordination of care may also include collaboration with other State, public, non-profit or private agencies as needed.
