Under the direction of the Office of Behavioral Health, Region VII, the Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic provides outpatient behavioral health services to eligible adults with chronic mental illness and/or addictions to alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and gambling. The service area for the Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic includes Caddo and Bossier parishes. Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic offer services including screening and evaluation; individual, family, group therapy; medication evaluation; management and provision of prescribed medications. Service fees based on income, family size, etc. and third party payment is accepted and billed.
* A system of care incorporates a broad array of services and supports that are organized into a coordinated network, integrates care planning and management across multiple levels, is culturally and linguistically competent, and builds meaningful partnerships with those we serve at service delivery and policy levels.
Other services accessible to clients of the Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic, through a network of contract providers, include transportation, case management, respite, employment training, supportive housing, basic needs assistance, multi-agency planning, etc. Coordination of care may also include collaboration with other State, public, non-profit or private agencies as needed.

From the South:
North on Hwy 171, which becomes Mansfield Rd., then later becomes Hearne Avenue. Continue north until the intersection of North Hearn and North Market, continue through the traffic light at this intersection and through the next traffic light at the intersection of North Hearne and Grimmet Drive. The Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic will be the third large building on the left hand side of North Hearne Avenue.
North on I-49 to I-20 and take the Monroe Exit. Shortly after exiting I-49 exit I-20 on Spring Street and travel north through town. Spring Street merges into North Market, continue north. At the intersection of North Market and North Hearne, turn right onto North Hearne. (CVS Drugs is on the right.) Continue through the next intersection which will be Grimmet Drive at North Hearne and the Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic will be the third large building on the left hand side of North Hearne Avenue.
North on Hwy 1 which becomes Youree Drive and then later Spring Street continue to travel north through town. Spring Street merges into North Market, continue north. At the intersection of North Market and North Hearne, turn right onto North Hearne. (CVS Drugs is on the right.) Continue through the next intersection which will be Grimmet Drive at North Hearne and the Shreveport Behavioral Health Clinic will be the third large building on the left hand side of North Hearne Avenue.
North on Hwy 71 which becomes Barksdale Blvd. and later enters I-20 toward Shreveport. After crossing the Red River take the Spring Street exit into downtown Shreveport, headed north through town. Spring Street merges into North Market, continue north. At the intersection of North Market and North Hearne, turn right onto North Hearne. (CVS Drugs is on the right.)
