River Parishes Treatment Center provides services to the homicidal, suicidal, and gravely disabled population of the River Parishes area (St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist).
The following services are provided on an outpatient basis:

Referrals to other agencies
Psychiatric Evaluation
Psychological Evaluation
Psychological Assessments
Hospitalizations (through SPOE)
Individual and Group Counseling
Medication Management and other services associated with client care.

From the North: Take I-l0 West to LaPlace, take Belle Terre Blvd. Exit (Highway 3l88), turn right on Belle Terre Blvd. Go about 5 miles to Highway 61 ( Airline Hwy), turn left at Airline. Go about 1 block (you will see the Wal-Mart Shopping Center on your right hand turn left at 1801 West Airline Hwy. (St. John Parish office Building). Proceed about 2 block, turn right at the stop sign, go about 2 block to P.D. Hebert Rd. then turn left at 1809 West Airline Highway, you will see the clinic.
From the South: Take I-10 West to LaPlace, turn left at Exit (Highway 51). Go down Highway 51 about 5 miles to highway 61 (Airline Hwy) and turn right on Airline. Proceed through three signal lights. When you see the Wal-Mart shopping Center on your right move to the center lane. Turn left at 1801 West Airline Highway (St. John=s Parish Office Building). Proceed about 2 block, turn right at the stop sign, go about 2 block to P.D. Herbert Road then turn left at 1809 West Airline Highway, you will see the clinic.
From the West: Take Highway 90 to Highway 310, cross the Luling Bridge and take the LaPlace exit off of Highway 310 West to Highway 61 (Airline Highway). Proceed about 10 miles North to LaPlace, River Parishes Mental Health Clinic is across from the Wal-Mart Shopping Center. When you see Wal-Mart on your right move to the center lane. Turn left at 1801 West Airline Highway (St. John=s Parish Office Building). Proceed about 2 block, turn right at the stop sign, go about 2 block to P.D. Herbert Road then turn left at 1809 West Airline Highway, you will see the clinic.
From the East: Take Highway 51/55 from Hammond. Take highway 51 to Highway 61 (Airline Hwy Turn right on Airline. Proceed through three signal lights.
