The Engagement Training is second part of the required training series through the Institute of Innovations and Implementation through the University of Maryland for all WAA and FSO direct care staff. The purpose of this training is to provide information on effective strategies for improving and enhancing communication with families and providers. This one day training includes modeling effective strategies, role playing, and opportunities to practice newly learned skills.
