The Health Occupations Department of the Louisiana Technical College/Florida Parishes Campus is hosting the 1st Annual Walk in the Park Expo to promote healthy lifestyles for children within the community and surrounding areas. It will be held in Greensburg, La. at the Forest Festival Park November 14, 2009 from 9 a.m. to noon.  We will be providing information to the community on the importance of regular exercise and proper nutrition, healthy snacks and drinks, health care, etc. If you would like to have a booth to display materials we will be delighted to have you participate. LaCHIP representatives will be onsite to answer any questions about LaCHIP, LaCHIP Affordable Plan and other Medicaid programs or assist anyone wishing to apply for these programs.
