Louisiana Spirit touched the lives of survivors through over 3.5 million face-to-face services and over 26 million indirect services.

Louisiana Spirit was a Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training
Program (CCP). The CCP is authorized under the Robert T. Stafford
Disaster Relief and Emergency Management Agency, and administered
by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
Center for Mental Health Services. The mission of the CCP is to
assist individuals and communities in recovering from the
challenging effects of natural and human-caused disasters through
the provision of community-based outreach and psychoeducational
services.
